Lacy McCoy
 

Lacy McCoy is a Viola player with a degree in Music Education from TCU. Ms. McCoy has taught private lessons and coaches small chamber ensembles with the Fort Worth Youth Orchestras. In addition, Ms. McCoy is the Assistant Director of the Junior String Orchestra with the FWYO.

 

Ms. McCoy has been the Head Orchestra Director at Ousley JH for 5 years, and looks forward to many more years of making excellent music with the students in the Ousley Orchestras.

The Ousley High School Orchestra Cluster has grown into a top notch program in the last few years. We currently have 5 orchestras at Ousley, and several have been recognized as Superior Orchestras at the UIL Concert & Sightreading Contest. To top it off, we have 6 stellar elementary strings programs that feed in to the Ousley Orchestra.

Kim Forguson
 

Kim Forguson serves as an assistant orchestra director at Ousley Junior High School and teaches beginner strings classes at Ashworth Elementary and Bebensee Elementary.  She is a graduate of Texas Woman's University, where she received both her B.A. and M.A. degrees in Music Education.   

 

Ms. Forguson began her career as a private violin teacher and strings class instructor in Kentucky.  Upon arriving to Texas, she finished her training in Denton ISD teaching middle school orchestra and general music.  Ms. Forguson has also taught music courses at the postsecondary level as a graduate teaching assistant.  

 

In her spare time, Ms. Forguson enjoys spending time with her dog (Kody), cooking, watching movies, drawing, and participating in other artistic endeavors.

Seth McCay
 

Seth McCay is one of the assistant orchestra directors at Ousley Junior High, as well as the strings teacher at Williams and Beckham Elementary. Although he has been teaching music for years, this is his second year as a full-time orchestra director and strings teacher.

 

Seth was born and raised in Decatur, Alabama, where he attended Austin High School, graduating in 2004. The following year, he began studying Music Education at Auburn University and graduated with a B.S. in Music Education in the fall of 2009. While there, he was a charter member and secretary for the Auburn University chapter of the NBA, a presidential scholarship recipient, and the Alabama State Winner of the Music Teacher National Association Young Artist Competition. He also played several seasons with the Auburn University Orchestra, and subbed for the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra. After leaving Auburn, he completed some graduate work in Music Performance at Louisiana State University while completing a work-study with the LSU recording studio.

 

Outside of teaching, Seth continues to perform music with the Carrollton Wind Symphony, where he serves on the Executive Board as Secretary, and the Metropolitan Winds. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring visual art, with a special interest in graphic design. Seth also enjoys traveling, eating great food, and exercising. He currently resides in Irving, Texas with his two dogs, Link and Pascal, and his wonderful wife, Shelby

Henry Brown
 

Henry Brown is a Double Bass player specializing in classical and jazz music. He played in the TCU Symphonic Orchestra and the TCU Jazz Ensemble for three years each, where he performed as part of the TMEA featured TCU Jazz Ensemble and in Argentina with the internationally recognized TCU Symphonic Orchestra. He has performed with such distinguished musicians as Peter Erskine, Pequito D'Rivera, and Opus Quatro. Mr. Brown graduated from TCU in 2015 with a Bachelors in Music Education. He has taught private lessons in his personal studio since 2012.

 

Mr. Brown is currently an Assistant Orchestra Director at Ousley Junior High, as well as the Strings Teacher at Pearcy Elementary and Fitzgerald Elementary.
